Sunshine Coast Convention Centre (SCCC), the ultimate conference, meeting room and event venue destination on the Sunshine Coast and located within natural beauty of bush and beach at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort.

We are a premier convention, meeting and event space combining a world class business and leisure venue with event expertise to create unique experiences which are outside the box. Our centre and facilities cater for groups, organisations and associations across a wide range of industries and interests. The purpose built venue combined with quality hospitality, activities and accommodation options on-site allow us to deliver tailored solutions for business events for groups of 10 up to 2,500 guests.

Meeting Facilities

The Sunshine Coast Convention Centre is a brand new 1,600 square metre purpose built building, (Minyama) which has been meticulously designed for integration with the existing facilities and adjacent building (Wandiny) creating an unrivalled event destination on the Sunshine Coast.

Minyama Room

A brand new purpose built venue of 1,600 square metres designed meticulously for integration with existing facilities. The new build has a 1,500 guest capacity for theatre setup or 1,100 for a gala dinner and is ideal for residential conferences or gala dinners. The room can be split into 4 separate rooms with various sizes and configurations and perfect for conferencing with tradeshow held in Wandiny.

Arrival Deck

Unique outdoor function space and arrivals area for events and 400 square metres allowing for break out options or retreats.

Wandiny Room

A flexible venue that can seat up to 1,200 delegates theatre style, this versatile room is designed for large scale plenary, trade and gala functions. The room contains a satellite kitchen and bar to allow for smooth food and beverage service and a hidden roller door for easy bump in and bump out. With floor to ceiling windows down an entire side of the room and access to an outdoor terrace which runs the full length of the room, your delegates can enjoy the natural light and outdoor area that this room affords.

Accommodation

Blending contemporary style, Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort boasts 361 rooms and suite accommodation, including Resort Rooms, One and Two-Bedroom Suites and 16 beautifully appointed Overwater Lagoon Suites. All feature light, soothing colours and plush fabrics to create a sense of restfulness and calm.
