Digital Content Assistant - Casual

20 HOURS PER WEEK ($25/ hour) - FLEXIBLE HOURS

Visit Sunshine Coast is the the Regional Tourism Organisation, responsible for marketing the Sunshine Coast domestically and internationally.

As we continue to strive to be best in class in Digital, we are excited to be recruiting for a Digital Content Assistant, which is a newly created support role within our Digital Marketing Team. This is a casual position that reports to the Digital Marketing Manager. If you are looking for a flexible, casual role and have some basic graphic design and digital experience, then this may be the role for you.  We must stress that this is not a 'creative' role, some tasks will be monotonous and require excellent attention to detail. We need a hard worker who isn't afraid of getting stuck in and getting things done!  This role will be required for a minimum of 6 months on a casual basis and may occasionally require extra hours.

Minimum criteria:

  • Basic experience with photoshop (image resizing and optimising)
  • An understanding of SEO
  • Experience uploading content to a CMS
  • Familiarity with HTML, Wordpress, Mailchimp and CRMs
  • Some graphic design and Mailchimp experience essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
