ADMINISTRATION

Craig Davidson

Interim CEO
Craig has spent more than 30 years working in and on the Australian Tourism Industry. He has broad tourism experience across hotels, resorts, attractions and nature-based experiences at the Executive and Chief Executive level including Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation, Hamilton Island, Voyages Hotels and Resorts, and Ardent Leisure Theme Parks. Craig also headed up Tourism Australia’s Investment Attraction and Industry Development team including aviation route development and Indigenous tourism product. Craig will stay in the position as interim CEO until the new CEO commences and help orchestrate the handover.




Gillian Toner

HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Gillian manages all operational aspects of the business including HR, recruitment and selection, IT, systems, vehicles and WH&S. Gill also manages special projects for the organisation and provides a secretariat function to the Board of Directors, Audit and Risk Committee and Digital Committee. 
 

Anna Norelius

PERSONAL ASSISTANT
Anna provides administrative support to the Head of Operations and the CEO’s office and assists with diary management, booking staff travel, catering and supplies and other administrative duties as required.



Guy Williams

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Guy oversees the day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handles tax matters, preparing financial reports, payroll and ensuring organisational financial stability.




Katrina Logan

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR
Katrina is the first point of contact for all account enquiries.  Along with assisting the Financial Controller, she coordinates all accounts payable and receivable functions, banking and monthly financial reports.

 

MARKETING AND EVENTS

Jo Prothero

HEAD OF MARKETING
Jo is responsible for developing destination marketing strategies for the Sunshine Coast region in line with VSC’s objectives. This includes overseeing all domestic and international programs, research analysis, trade partnerships, digital strategy and cooperative marketing initiatives.






Samantha Dalla

MARKETING MANAGER 
Sam drives key marketing plans in support of the development of the regional brand, while also being responsible for VSC’s campaign management and delivery.







Darien Brown

 

EVENTS AND MARKETING COORDINATOR
Darien provides marketing and events support to the Head of Marketing and the Marketing Manager. She works closely with our event operators and prepares events leverage plans.

 



Allison Wallace

DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR
Allison coordinates the organisation’s digital marketing including supporting brand and lead generation campaigns, along with creating and distributing content on all digital platforms.
 



Brett Ross

DIGITAL DESIGN SPECIALIST
Brett provides in-house graphic design for the organisation. He develops and edits images for use in print and media, produces high quality documents, designs advertisements and manages the image library. Brett also supports the wider VSC team with video and still production to create content for VSC’s digital channels.

 

Justin Franks

DIGITAL  SPECIALIST
Justin is responsible for our digital space at VSC including managing websites and CRM’s, software, online tools along with SEO and analytics.
 



Lillie Gillam

SOCIAL MEDIA  ASSISTANT
Lillie provides support to our digital team and is responsible for creating social media posts with engaging and up to date content.

 

 




Emily Zinowki

TRADE SPECIALIST
Emily looks after the international trade and marketing space at VSC. She works closely with our regions trade partners and operators, attends trade shows and runs famils.

 



Jordan Ryan

MARKETING INTERN
Jordan is our marketing intern and provides support to the entire marketing team. Jordan joined us in 2020




Jenny Aitken

 NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATIVE

Jenny delivers a contract for the organisation to provide in-market representation for VSC in New Zealand.

Maureen Brennan

BUSINESS EVENTS MANAGER
Maureen is responsible for engaging the industry in market development initiatives to grow the Sunshine Coast’s share of the business events market sector.  
 


Michelle Burgum

BUSINESS EVENTS EXECUTIVE
Michelle provides a support role for the Business Events department to promote the Sunshine Coast as a viable and attractive destination for business events. Michelle also manages all leads, research compilation and administrative tasks.  

 


BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS

Andrew Fairbairn

INDUSTRY & MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Andrew manages Membership, Industry Development and our three Visitor Information Centres. He also manages all commercial partnerships and sub regional relationships.

 



Anke Hoppe

DESTINATION SUPPORT OFFICER
Anke looks after reception and the membership administration functions for the organisation. Anke is the first point of contact for all membership related enquiries.  
 

Beth Mahoney

VISITOR SERVICING COORDINATOR
Beth is responsible for operating our three Visitor Information Centres in Glass House Mountains, Montville and at the Sunshine Coast Airport. She recruits, trains and schedules our Volunteer Ambassadors as well as organising familiarisation trips.


PR & COMMUNICATIONS

Liz Tuckett 

PR & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Liz drives all PR, media and communications activity for the organisation. Liz also manages a number of in-region media famils and provides advice to senior management on all PR and media activities.



Lauren Grounsell

PR & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
Lauren is the main contact within the organisation for all media enquiries and provides a key support role in the PR and Communications team. She also assists in drafting eNewsletters, handling media enquiries and coordinating famil itineraries.  



Peter Hook

COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT (SYDNEY)
Peter Hook delivers a contract for the organisation to provide media representation and also plays a key support role for all PR, media and communications activity of the organisation.
