Beach is nestled between K’gari (formerly Fraser Island) and Cooloola National Park. Alternatively, stretch your legs and hike up to the historic lighthouse that was built in 1884 and is now operating on solar power. Don't be afraid to leave the beach and venture inland, either, where stunning local favourites like Seary's Creek and Poona Lake are only a short drive away.
