Bulcock Beach

Drive to Bulcock Beach to start your journey along the renowned Caloundra Coastal Pathway. This stunning attraction is made up of 9km of stunning coastal views and is perfect for all fitness levels. You might be thinking, 9KM NO WAY, but don’t let the length scare you. This pathway is perfect for a relaxing stroll, stopping along the way for amazing photo opps of lighthouses, lakes, creeks and surf beaches, with the freedom of turning around at any time.

Once you’ve arrive back at Bulcock Beach, make the short walk to the multi-award-winning bar, 26° Bar + Venue.  This stylish, multi award-winning bar finds the perfect balance between sophisticated and relaxed, and is open seven days a week. Book and table and treat yourself to lunch and a cocktail or two as you take in your beautiful surroundings, looking over the Pumicestone Passage and enjoying our amazing sunshine and beautifully warm weather.

Golden Beach

After relaxing over lunch, drive to Golden Beach Hire and spend the afternoon canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding. If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can also book a lesson in kitesurfing and windsurfing. 

Make sure to bring along your cricket set, frisbee and football and enjoy the coastal parks. There are also barbecue facilities, picnic tables and kids' playgrounds.

After spending the afternoon on the water, check into your accommodation for the night at Rumba Beach Resort. Choose from an extensive breakfast menu, offering something for everyone. Take in the view of the Pumicestone Passage as your surroundings wake up for another beautiful day in Caloundra.

Before embarking on your Caloundra adventure, make sure you've booked a morning of fishing with Fishing Australia's Rob Paxevanos. You can meet him along Bulcock Beach, across the road from Rumba Beach Resort and spend a couple of hours learning the tricks of the fishing trade from one of the best in the business. Rob will pick you up in a pontoon boat and take you across to Bribie Island, where you can cast a line and test your luck at catching lunch. Whether you are a first-timer, keen angler or just want a refresher of how to fish; Rob will provide all the equipment and instruction to have fun.

If you were lucky enough to catch lunch utilise the free barbecues to cook up your fish, and head across the road to Sandbar Café and Kiosk to buy some chips. The best lunch to enjoy by the seashore.
