Your Christmas Carols hit-list for the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast lights up with a myriad of family-friendly Christmas events and many of them are free!

Nambour Community Carols

29 November, 3pm to 8pm
Nambour Showgrounds

Join the fun in Nambour as the community celebrates Christmas early with their annual night of carols. This is a free community event with free rides, tea and coffee stall, market stalls, food stalls, animal farm, carols concert and fireworks. The event starts at 3pm with the twilight markets and kids entertainment, before the carols commence at 6pm and the night finishes with the fireworks finale at 8pm. 

Carols at Cotton Tree

7 December, 4.30pm to 8pm
Cotton Tree Park, The Esplanade, Cotton Tree

Come and enjoy a wonderful Christmas celebration with entertainment, food and fun. Bring a blanket or chair and join us for a night of great local talent, singing our much loved Christmas carols and a special visit from Santa. The event will finish at approximately 8pm with a fireworks display. 

Yandina Christmas Carols under the stars 

8 December, 6pm-8.30pm
Yandina Historic House 

Celebrate the festive season with plenty of carol singing, special artists and entertainment, scrumptious food stalls and a visit from Santa. This is a great night out for the whole family, with something for everyone and plenty of favourite carols to sing along to. 

Buderim Community Carols by candlelight 

8 December, 6pm 
Buderim Village Park, Kings Street, Buderim 

Bring a picnic blanket, the family and join friends and neighbours in traditional carolling. There is something for everyone with entertainment for all ages, even an appearance from santa. Everyone is invited to this much loved, heart warming, Buderim Christmas event. From Jingle Bells to Hark the Herald Angels,  enjoy a good old fashioned singalong with the community.  

Peregian Beach Christmas carols 

1 December, 3pm to 8pm 
Peregian Beach Park

BYO picnic rug and low seating for a spectacular night of entertainment. Explore the local food stalls for a festive dinner before relaxing and enjoying the carols and some fireworks at 7.30pm. Santa will arive early in the evening so make sure you get there before he heads off to visit other parts of the Sunshine Coast. 

Coolum Christmas in the Park

14 December, 4pm to 9pm
Jack Morgan Park

Bring your blanket and your best singing voices and get ready for a night of family-friendly carols from 7pm under the stars. Enjoy an evening out with the family taking time to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere with your friends and family. From 4pm kids activities, including petting zoo and sausage sizzle.

Carols on Kings

14 December, 4.30pm to 8pm
Kings Beach Amphitheatre

Come and enjoy a wonderful Christmas celebration with entertainment, food and fun. Bring a blanket or chair and join
us for a night of great local talent, singing our much loved Christmas carols and a special visit from Santa as well as some fireworks to finish the night.

Glasshouse Country Community Carols

14 December, 4.30pm to 8.30pm
Beerwah Sports Grounds

A great family-friendly event bringing the community together to celebrate Christmas Aussie style. Enjoy plenty of traditional and new sing-along carols accompanied by our own local talent and choir,  pre-show entertainment, great kids activites, community dance groups. 

Noosa Carols by candlelight

15 December, 7pm to 9pm 
Noosaville Lions Park 

Come and enjoy a night of carols as we celebrate Christmas together as a community. There will be live carols, food vendors, glow products, and of course Santa will be there to say hello to the children. Bring a picnic, a chair and invite everyone to a wonderful and fun evening on the beautiful Noosa River! 

Doonan Community Christmas Carols

1 December, 4.30pm to 8pm 
Eumundi Showgrounds 

Enjoy an evening under the stars whilst singing along to Christmas carols, presented by a host of talented local performers.The kids will love Santa arriving on the convoy of fire engines, courtesy of the Doonan Rural Fire Brigade. The perfect way to welcome summer and celebrate Christmas with the local community!

Bli Bli Community Christmas Carols

6 December, 4.30pm to 8pm 
Bli Bli State School 

The fun starts early with rides and entertainment before the carols kick off at 6.30pm. Start the festive season with a bang - the event will finish with fireworks of course!
