Flights from New Zealand to the Sunshine Coast

While a stunning coastline and 300 days of sunshine will draw you here, the chance to experience amazing adventures in the hinterland will have you lingering longer.

Just a few movie-filled hours from Auckland, the Sunshine Coast delivers wave after wave of holiday happiness. Having fun and enjoying the sunshine might be your top priorities, however amazing food experiences and the glorious hinterland scenery will make you want to stretch your stay.

In 2018, you can fly non-stop from Auckland to the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) from 6 July to 28 October with Air New Zealand and land right in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. At other times of the year, you can fly non-stop to Brisbane and enjoy a leisurely one-hour drive north to Caloundra or around 90 minutes to Noosa Heads. The average Auckland to Sunshine Coast flight is just under four hours, while the Auckland to Brisbane flight is about three hours and 45 minutes.
