Over the Halloween weekend, the Sunshine Coast is deciding to show off its spooky side with these events. If you’re into chills and thrills then these events are for you! 

FestEvil Family Night - Aussie World

You’re in for a treat, or perhaps a trick, at Aussie World’s Halloween FestEvil on the 28 October starting from 6 pm. The whole family is invited to a fantasy wonderland where all your dreams and nightmares come true. Explore the park in darkness, enjoy ghoulish treats and surprises in store for the whole family. There’s also a firework extravaganza. It’s the perfect way to end the scare-a-brations!

Halloween - Australia Zoo

If you’re looking for some spooktacular fun, join Australia Zoo on 31 October for their Halloween celebrations, With Jack-o-lanterns available for carving, creepy face-painting and trick or treating throughout the Zoo. It’s the perfect way to start Halloween. Even the animals will be getting into the spirit, and participating in pumpkin play time.

Halloween activities - Kawana Shopping World

Kawana Shopping World is transforming into an other worldly experience over the Halloween weekend to spook out shoppers! With a live Halloween show on Friday the 27 October from 6 pm onwards and trick or treating in the centre on Saturday, be sure to take advantage of all the free kids' activities.

Halloween Disco Party – The Imperial Hotel

If you’re looking for some fun with the kids for Halloween, take them to the disco! The Imperial Hotel in Eumundi, is putting on a Halloween Disco Party for kids aged 5 - 14 from 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm! With prizes for best costume and best on the dance floor, get your toilet rolls out and start working on those mummy costumes!

Halloween dinner - Buderim Tavern

Burderim Tavern are putting on a fun Halloween night in the bistro for kids and families on the coast. With a free spooky dessert with every meal, and movie screening in the creepy cave. They’re also giving out prizes for best dressed and other prizes to be won on the night.

Mary Valley Scarecrow Festival  

Scarecrows have been coming out of hiding since the 7 October in Mary Valley country, and you can bet that over Halloween they’re be popping their heads out all over the place. Follow a map that leads you to all of the greatest ‘crows on display.  Get into the Halloween spirit and pick up a few costume ideas along the way.
