According to TripAdvisor, their Travellers Choice Awards represent ‘The Very Best of Travel - Chosen by Millions of Travellers’.

“The Sunshine Coast hinterland is an exceptional destination,” says Mr Dryden of The Falls Montville.

“Boutique accommodation players with exceptional service have become Montville, Maleny and Flaxton hallmarks. We’re proud and honoured by the recognition of the world’s largest and most influential travel referral and reference site.

“It’s critical to remember that accommodation is just one facet of the destination. Wonderful tourism business leadership by Visit Sunshine Coast, excellent local tourism associations, great information centres, superb restaurants and cafés, unique architecture, diverse retail, original arts, crafts and markets, organic agriculture, verdant nature, unusual wildlife and epic views - these are the core assets that draw increasing numbers of foreign and local visitors to the area.

“We’re all pretty fortunate to be here”, added Alan. “The Sunshine Coast is a very special part of Australia.” Visit Sunshine Coast CEO, Simon Latchford, congratulated all the successful hotels and guest houses, saying that it was the region’s diversity, rich character and authentic service mentality that helped create such exceptional feedback.

“What these Travellers Choice awards show is that it doesn’t matter whether you are a couple seeking a romantic getaway, friends wanting a weekend together, a family looking for a beachside holiday or those seeking adventure – we can not only deliver the accommodation to suit but ensure that the stay is memorable.

“The Sunshine Coast Hinterland accommodation and tourism operators deserve the accolades they have received because their camaraderie and collegiate approach to delivering such high-quality product and experiences benefits the whole region."
