Heading to the beach over summer is one of the best parts of living and holidaying right here on the Sunshine Coast but staying safe is really important as condition can change very quickly!

Whether you want to swim, surf, kayak, have a picnic, take a walk, or simply relax, there is a stunning beach here to suit your needs.

It can be a blissful experience but water safety at the beach should be a top priority for both locals and visitors alike.

With this in mind, we have listed the safest places to swim – patrolled beaches!
