Your Christmas Carols hit-list for the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast lights up with a myriad of family-friendly Christmas events and many of them are free!

Nambour Community Carols

9 December, 3 pm to 8:15 pm
Namboue Showgrounds

Join the fun in Nambour as the community celebrates Christmas with their annual night of carols. This is a free community event with free rides, tea and coffee stall, market stalls, food stalls, animal farm, carols concert and fireworks. The event starts at 3pm with the twilight markets and kids entertainment, before the carols commence at 6pm and the night finishes with the fireworks finale at 8pm. 

Carols at Cotton Tree

9 December, 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm
Cotton Tree Park, The Esplanade, Cotton Tree

Come and enjoy a wonderful Christmas celebration with entertainment, food and fun. Bring a blanket or chair and join us for a night of great local talent, singing our much loved Christmas carols and a special visit from Santa. The event will finish at approximately 8:30pm with a fireworks display. 

Eumundi Christmas Carols

9 December, 6:30 pm to 9 pm 
Eumundi Amphitheatre

Bring your chairs and picnic dinner or buy a burger & a drink from the Eumundi Rotary stall. Take the opportunity to relax with the family and enjoy an evening of festive spirits and a visit from Santa. Enjoy a wonderful lineup of talented performers and special guests Poppy and Branch from the Trolls movie, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Frosty the Snowman and of course it would not be Christmas without Santa!! The Eumundi Calisthenics and Eumundi School Choir will be making an appearance as well.

Yandina Christmas Carols under the stars 

10 December, 6:30 pm
Yandina Historic House 

Celebrate the festive season with plenty of carol singing, special artists and entertainment, scrumptious food stalls and a visit from Santa. This is a great night out for the whole family, with something for everyone and plenty of favourite carols to sing along to. 

Buderim Community Carols by candlelight 

10 December, 6:30 pm 
Buderim Village Park, Kings Street, Buderim 

Bring a picnic blanket, the family and join friends and neighbours in traditional carolling. There is something for everyone with entertainment for all ages, even an appearance from santa. Everyone is invited to this much loved, heart warming, Buderim Christmas event. From Jingle Bells to Hark the Herald Angels,  enjoy a good old fashioned singalong with the community.  

Peregian Beach Christmas carols 

12 December, 5 pm to 10 pm 
Peregian Beach Park

BYO picnic rug and low seating for a spectacular night of entertainment. Explore the local food stalls for a festive dinner before relaxing and enjoying the carols. Santa will arive early in the evening so make sure you get there before he heads off to visit other parts of the Sunshine Coast. 

Coolum Christmas in the Park

16 December, 7 pm to 9 pm
Tickle Park, Coolum Beach

Bring your blanket and your best singing voices and get ready for a night of family-friendly carols under the stars. Enjoy an evening out with the family taking time to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere with your friends and family.  

Carols on Kings

16 December, 4.30 pm to 8.30pm
Kings Beach Amphitheatre

Come and enjoy a wonderful Christmas celebration with entertainment, food and fun. Bring a blanket or chair and join
us for a night of great local talent, singing our much loved Christmas carols and a special visit from Santa.

Glasshouse Country Community Carols

16 December, 4.30 pm to 8 pm
Turner Park, Beerwah 

A great family-friendly event bringing the community together to celebrate Christmas Aussie style. Enjoy plenty of traditional and new sing-along carols accompanied by our own local talent and choir,  pre-show entertainment, great kids activites, community dance groups. 

Kawana Carols by the beach

17 December, 3 pm to 7:30 pm 
Kawana Surf Lifesaving Club 

Join in the Christmas celebrations and enjoy a family friendly Christmas Carol event with fantastic talent and lots of entertainment for the kids. This is a perfection occassion to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere with family and friends during the silly season. 

Noosa Carols by candlelight

17 December, 7 pm to 10 pm 
Noosaville Lions Park 

Come and enjoy a night of carols as we celebrate Christmas together as a community. There will be live carols, food vendors, glow products, and of course Santa will be there to say hello to the children. Bring a picnic, a chair and invite everyone to a wonderful and fun evening on the beautiful Noosa River!
