Golfers' dream itinerary

The Sunshine Coast is a well-known golfing destination, delivering a high standard resort course golfing experience.

There are 18 golf courses to choose from on the Sunshine Coast, including world-class championship courses, each with their own unique character. Home to four championship golf course and a Greg Norman designed course - it’s time to make space in your diary!

PGA Australia runs a Pro-Amateur Club team event on the Sunshine Coast each year called the Holden Scramble. The championship is played under a 54-hole tournament format, with teams of four amateurs and one professional competing. It has become the largest and most successful event of its kind in the country since it began in 1992.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to golf on the Sunshine Coast, but we’ve made it easy for you with this four day itinerary which includes four championship courses.

Day 1

Travel from your city of origin to Brisbane Airport or Sunshine Coast Airports. If time permits, visit Australia Zoo onyour way to your accommodation.

Check into your accommodation at Pelican Waters Golf Resort and Spa.

Day 2

Play 18 holes at the Greg Norman designed Pelican Waters Golf Club.

Stay overnight at Pelican Waters Golf Resort and Spa.

Day 3

Transfer to Twin Waters (25 minutes from Pelican Waters) and check into Novotel Twin Waters Resort. Tee off at Twin Waters Golf Club (5 minutes from the resort), home of the largest Australian Pro-Am event, the Holden Scramble.

Stay overnight at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort.

Day 4

Transfer to either Peregian Golf Course, a parklands style course designed by Adam Scott’s father, Phil Scott.

Then transfer to Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort to check into your apartment style accommodation.

Day 5

Play 18 holes on this well-known resort style course and perhaps ease those tired muscles in the afternoon with a hydrotherapy massage in The Spa at Noosa Springs Resort.

Stay overnight at the Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort.

Day 6

Depart Sunshine Coast via Sunshine Coast Airport or Brisbane Airport.
