Secluded beaches, countless shopping options and endless surf – too easy.

AND under an hour from Brisbane

From Point Cartwright in the north to Currimundi Lake in the south, Kawana Beach at nine kilometres long is one of the Sunshine Coast’s longest stretches of sand. And with ample access points down the coastline, you’re guaranteed to find your own untouched piece of paradise.

There is so much to do in Kawana, which is an ideal destination for shopping, watersports, swimming, fishing and walking. You can explore the canals with a canoe, kayak or outrigger, take to the waves on some of the best surf breaks on the Sunshine Coast and stop and have picnic at La Balsa Park on Mooloolah River, before following the path that winds through the nearby Point Cartwright Lighthouse Reserve.

Off the beach, enjoy a visit to Kawana Shoppingworld, home to the first Gold Class and Vmax experience on the Sunshine Coast, and Sunshine Coast Stadium, a premier facility which hosts an array of events across sport, community and music at Kawana Waters.
