The number of breweries popping up continues to grow every year and we are seeing beers brewed with smoked grains, those infused with seasonal local fruit and the influence of Japanese-style beers that are ideal for the Queensland climate - breweries are putting the Sunshine Coast on the map. One of the best ways to take them all in is on a guided tour with Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Tours. Not only will you get to sample the beer, but you’ll meet the brewers and hear their stories. Be sure to visit Brouhaha Brewery in the Hinterland town of Maleny, where local produce provides inspiration and sustainability is key. Closer to the coast is Sunshine Brewery that first opened its doors in 2015. This family-run brewery offers award-winning brews and relaxed coastal vibes. Located inside a huge space in Warana’s industrial precinct, Your Mates Brewhouse is all things industrial-chic. Think cement floors, high bar tables and stools, ambient downlighting and exposed timber, that is before we even get started talking about the awardwinning beer!
