Located on the southern entry to Gympie on the Bruce Highway at the Lake Alford Recreational Park. This is a popular stopover for traveler's offering ample parking, picnic & barbecue facilities, all abilities children's playground, and off the dog leash park. The coastal towns of Tin Can Bay and every-appealing Rainbow Beach offer breathtaking nature experiences. Rainbow Beach via Inskip Point offers the southern gateway to the world heritage K'gari. To the west of the highway are the quaint villages of the Mary Valley and frontier towns of Kilkivan and Goomeri. You will be surprised at just how much there is to explore in the Gympie Region.
