The Glasshouse Mountains Visitor and Interpretive Centre is located in Settlers Rotary Park on the corner of Bruce Parade and Steve Irwin Way in the Glasshouse Mountains. This accredited Visitor Information Centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures and itineraries. The centre is also a interpretive centre with interactive displays on the history of the area. A small selection of local products and souvenirs are available for sale and are unique for gift ideas. Local honey and jams are very popular. New products include Hinterland Feijoas and local gift cards and children's books and handmade jewellery. EFTPOS only. The staff are knowledgeable local volunteer Ambassadors, and the Glasshouse Mountains Visitor and Interpretive Centre can provide advice on the things to see, things to do and where to eat. Discuss your travel plans or get a tip on the famous walks in the Glasshouse Mountains with our friendly Ambassadors. The Centre offers free wi-fi for visitors and is open from 9am until 4pm daily. The Centre is located in a park that has public toilets, playground, barbecue and picnic tables and off street car park.
