Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) are executing a campaign prior, during and after the Commonwealth Games targeting the local Queensland market with the message ‘Escape to the Sunshine Coast’; and a 'Come to Life on the Sunshine Coast' message to interstate visitors. This will take place from 16 March to the 30 April 2018.

The objective of the our marketing activity, which will take place across print and digital channels, is to increase consideration to travel to our region by encouraging people to ‘escape’ to the Sunshine Coast during the games for a family friendly holiday, day trip, holiday after holiday or ‘must do’ next holiday. With this in mind, we will be showcasing the wonderful experiences on offer to encourage dispersal and visitor expenditure.

With the increased number of active travellers visiting Queensland during April, we wanted to add to the deals we already have available.

We invite you as a valued VSC member, if you do not already have a deal listed with us, to submit an offer for a FREE inclusion in this campaign. The current offers we have listed are currently receiving on average 180 clicks through to operator’s websites.

The offers are listed and promoted on the website with a dedicated deals page region:

  • Hinterland and Eumundi
  • Caloundra to Kawana
  • Mooloolabaa
  • Maroochydore to Coolum Beach
  • Noosa & Gympie.

Terms and Conditions

  • Limit of one special offer per member at any one time.
  • Redemption/travel periods for deals will be from 16– 29 March and 17 April – 30 June 2018 (outside of public and school holidays). Please advise if you wish to include your deal during the holidays.
  • Deals must be easily redeemable online and the direct booking URL provided. VSC will promote approved offers on with bookings made directly with operators.
  • The deal must be a unique value add or discount available to VSC’s consumer database (For example, FREE nights, complimentary breakfast with late checkout, bottle of bubbles and chocolate, dinner vouchers, attraction etc)
  • The savings value or additional value must be included as a percentage or dollar value, example: Stay four, pay three, save $350.
  • Operators are required to complete a redemption report at the end of the campaign.
  • Inclusion of the deal is at the discretion of VSC in consultation with the operator. Deals which do not comply with the format provided may not be included.
  • Offers will be listed for the duration of the campaign, VSC reserves the right to remove deals if required
