We're backing Sunshine Coast Lightning to strike twice!

The most distinctive thing about the Sunshine Coast is its extraordinary community spirit. It’s a place where you’ll feel like a local from the moment you arrive - there’s no shortage of friendly people with easy smiles (especially when we enjoy on average 300 days of sunshine per year).

This Sunday 19th August, we are hoping to have more reasons to smile when defending champions and local legends, the Sunshine Coast Lightning, take on the mighty GIANTS team at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney in the preliminary final of the 2018 Suncorp Super Netball Series. Cheer on the Lightning in their do-or-die battle televised on Channel Nine from 1.00pm and be #SunCoastProud  #StrikeTwice

The team have really hit-their-stride in the latter half of the season, and led by experienced team members and Visit Sunshine Coast Ambassadors, Caitlin Bassett and Geva Mentor, alongside phenomenal coach Noeline Taurua, the girls definitely have the determination, skill and tenacity to come away with the win.

Join us in wishing the Sunshine Coast Lightning GOOD LUCK!
