Sunshine Coast Airport is conveniently located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast region and provides connectivity to both domestic destinations across Australia, and direct seasonal services to Auckland, New Zealand. The Airport is located in the suburb of Marcoola, a short drive from major centres in Mooloolaba (15 kilometres, 15-minute drive), Noosa (42 kilometres, 35-minute drive), Caloundra (28 kilometres, 35-minute drive) and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland (30 kilometres, 45-minute drive). Domestic destinations for both inbound and outbound travel include Sydney (daily service), Melbourne (daily service) and Adelaide. New low-cost airline Bonza, will commence services to 13 destinations across Australia later in 2022. Air New Zealand operates a direct between Auckland, year-round. Airlines that service our airport include Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Alliance Airlines, Air New Zealand, and soon to be Bonza. A variety of services are available at the Airport, including car hire, public buses, taxi and rideshare transport, shuttle transfers, visitor information, dining, shopping and three choices of parking.
