Platypus Cove

Relax in the forest, explore the creek and sit around the fire in the evenings and gaze at the stars. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. There is access to garbage facilities. There is a tour available. Bird watching, feeding animals and swim in the waterhole after they ve had rain as the creek is seasonal. You do need to be 100% self sufficient off the grid campers, who leave a minimum minimal footprint on the landscape. There are some amazing dirt bike trails in the state forest - you are welcome to bring your bikes but please only ride them in the state forest next door. Bikes must be registered to be able to ride in the state forest. No pets please.
