Now known as "Jungaji" (meaning rock, strength, and knowledge), his creative expression spans music, visual art, theatre, and advocacy. His work speaks to resilience, connection, and cultural pride. ------------- Jungaji is a Western Gugu Yalanji and Birrigubba songman whose creative journey spans over three decades, from his early days as a member of the groundbreaking 90s R&B vocal group Aim 4 More in Inala, to a powerful solo career driven by cultural revival and deep spiritual connection. His name, Jungajimeaning rock, strength, and knowledge (pronounced Jun-gah-jee)reflects both his identity and purpose as a storyteller, truth-teller, and cultural torchbearer. The 'Betting On Blak' album is a collection of profoundly meaningful tracks, including two songs in Gugu Yalanji language: 'Gummy Bamarra', which received a Queensland Music Award, and 'Kalkurr', where Jungaji collaborates in the studio with his youngest son, Dean Brady. 18+
