Lexus Maroochydore Bluff to Bar Open Water Swim The Lexus Maroochydore Bluff to Bar is Queensland's newest open water swim, proudly hosted by Alex Surf Club. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Sunshine Coast, this 1.2 kilometre ocean swim begins at Alexandra Headland Bluff and finishes at Bluff Bar at Alex Surf Club. The course offers participants a unique opportunity to swim along one of the most iconic stretches of coastline in the region. This event is designed for swimmers of all ages and abilities. It welcomes competitive athletes aiming for a strong result, individuals seeking a personal challenge, and families looking for a fun day out together. Prizes are available across a range of categories. Elite male and female swimmers will each receive AUD3,000 cash. Standout Nippers will receive AUD100 cash plus a prize pack, with additional prize packs awarded in various divisions. Each registration includes a limited edition Bluff to Bar event t-shirt, an official swimming cap, post-race fruit and drink, and instant swim completion time with age group position results. Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves individually or swim as part of a team while supporting the community and enjoying the atmosphere of this inaugural event.
