We are making a big noise in the food scene, giving some of the best foodie capitals a run for their money, and we have only just begun!

1.    Sandbar Café and Kiosk, Caloundra

Perfect for relaxed, affordable dining overlooking the stunning Pumicestone Passage, for those chilled ocean vibes that can only be enjoyed on the Sunshine Coast. Offering a delicious selection of fresh fish, designer burgers and hand cut chips, this café knows how to please. If dining in isn’t your thing, order take-away and head across the road for a fish and chip picnic by the seashore.

2.    The Pocket Espresso Bar, Moffat Beach

4.    Augellos Ristorante & Pizzeria, Mooloolaba

Established in 1995, multi award-winning Augellos know what they are talking about when it comes to modern Italian cuisine. The restaurant is separated over two levels, both offering stunning views of the iconic Mooloolaba Beach. With a menu that will please every type of foodie, they offer a wide variety of choices using only quality, fresh ingredients. Anyone else craving pizza right now?  

5.    Wild Rocket at Misty’s, Montville

Incorporating the history of our beautiful hinterland Wild Rocket has found its home in one of the most historic buildings in Montville, the former ‘Fancy Goods & Lolly Shop’. Bursting with quirky atmosphere and shabby chic style this little café is all about local produce, free range organic proteins and homemade meals, with everything made on site. Yep, that’s right from beef sausages, breads, stock, sauces and even the jams and chutneys that are served with the scones. It’s basically like grandma just opened the best café ever!  

6.    Brouhaha Brewery, Maleny

We are hella proud of the Sunshine Coast brewery scene, with micro-breweries popping up left, right and centre, it is no wonder we have visitors traveling from all over the world to try out local brews. Not only do Brouhaha serve their craft-brewed beers, they also offer a cracking menu bursting with locally sourced produce. A great place to check out with a group of mates.

7.    Kunara Organic Marketplace, Forest Glen

Kunara is well known to the local community as a totally unique and exciting shopping experience. As you enter the doors your world is opened up to an incredible selection of organic produce from local growers, and if that doesn’t make you jump with joy, they also offer a completely organic café. The place is almost overflowing with raw treats and wholefood breakfast, lunch and snack options, from burgers to salads and acai bowls to big brekkies, it’s yumlicious.

8.    Maleny Food Co, Maleny

Did someone say, coffee, cheese and gelato? Maleny Food Co. knows what’s up when it comes to good food boasting award-winning gelati and sorbet, a fromagerie stocking over 200 cheeses, delish coffee and even have a deli style café. We are definitely ready for a lazy lunch date at this little Sunshine Coast gem.

10.    Café Jilarty at Rainbow, Rainbow Beach

After exploring the natural wonders of Rainbow Beach, Café Jilarty offers the ideal retreat to recharge and relax. This quaint little café, along witht its funky adjoining gallery space,  is open seven days a week from 6.30 am to 8.30 pm, with an impressive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Oh, did we mention that it is also BYO AND dog friendly! Fur baby lunch dates anyone?
