One Block Back

Hidden in a suburban street of Moffat Beach is a big white warehouse transformed into a beautiful cafe. One Block Back is decked out with corrugated iron walls, a cabinet packed with delicious RAWR treats and herb gardens out the front and back. In addition to delicious food, great coffee and Instagrammable decor, this spot is also dog-friendly so you can bring the whole family.

Coffee Cat on Kings         

We challenge you to find a café closer to the Beach than Coffee Cat on Kings Beach. Coffee Cat’s appeal extends much further than simply their spectacular setting. Flavoursome specialty coffee and a delightfully creative breakfast menu featuring favourites such as their Quinoa Nasi Goreng and Shakshuka will have you addicted in no time. Grab a takeaway during a pit stop on Caloundra’s scenic coastal walk or make yourself at home in their stunning alfresco eating area.

White Picket Fence

One of the most insta-worthy locations on the Sunshine Coast and relatively new to town, the team at White Picket Fence in Caloundra’s CBD will draw you in off the street with their delightful aesthetics. Their unique pink archways and diverse breakfast options have earnt themselves an impressive five-star review on trip adviser and they are no slouches in kitchen either. Offering cheeky favourites such as the ‘house deposit’ (a delicious take on traditional avo on toast’ and the chili crab scrambled eggs – we are confident you’ll fall in love this brilliant little café too.

Pocket Espresso

The Pocket Espresso Bar is always teeming with smiling Moffat Beach locals and their four-legged friends from the crack of dawn and into the night due to their effortlessly cool styling, delicious locally-sourced food and next-level Guru coffee. You will leave the Pocket feeling satisfied on so many levels. With an equal focus on keeping their coffee community smiling and providing incredible food – you leave the Pocket satisfied on a number of levels. This spot ticks every box, as it also overlooks the famous right-hand point break of Moffat Beach and is a favourite amongst the local surfing fraternity.

One Third French

We know all of our travel plans have been put on hold. But, that does not mean you have to go without your favourite guilty pleasures and international favourites – (or beautiful accents!). Another relatively new local favourite on the main street of Caloundra’s CBD, One Third French, provide a seriously good breakfast and coffee option. With a range of daily baked croissants and croc monsieur with cheese spilling out the side  - you won’t be disappointed.

The small street along Dicky Beach is packed full of great dining options, and it’s hard to pick one over the other. But, strictly coffee and breakfast – you cannot go past the Giggling Goat. Enter as strangers, leave as friends is more than just a slogan for this friendly little joint. With a traditional style breakfast menu done well and good old-fashioned service this café earns easily earns itself a spot on our top ten.
