Family lunch at Your Mates

Built on the back of mateship, sweat and lots of beers, Your Mates Brewing started out as two mates having a go in a tiny industrial shed.

With a lot of grit and determination Your Mates has skyrocketed to become a major player in the craft beer scene, with their tropical ale Larry voted the third best sessional beer in the country. Double high fives legends!

Co-Founders Hep and McGarry have kept the dream of mateship and top-notch beers alive, expanding to create Your Mates Brew House. Get amongst the good times with trivia nights, parmy party’s and loads of special events.

Pouring brews from big gun craft brewers like James Squire to local legends Eumundi Lager and a whole lot in between, this is the place to sample a few frothies, kick back and relax with some live music, rotisserie BBQ dinner and your mates. Cheers!

Run to Paradise Rum

Paradise Rum Distillery is the newest distillery and Caribbean restaurant to open on the Sunshine Coast.

Inspired to bring the ultimate in Caribbean-style rum to the region, the founders went to great lengths to create premium quality craft spirits distilled in American oak barrels for five years before it’s hand bottled in-house.

Their botanically infused rum, gin and vodka range was created for happy afternoons, a night with friends and a way to cap off the week – fun times!

Eat, drink and unwind here. With the scent of coconut and lime on the breeze, your Fridays are about to feel like holidays!

Meander the Kawana Farmers Markets

Locals know that Kawana Farmers Market is the best on the Coast for top quality fresh local produce, gourmet goods (think olives, fresh pasta, kimchi), pretty things and organic goodness.

Start Saturday morning right with a French Sin Bakery croissant and coffee, before doing a slow wander around to check out who has the best cherry tomatoes.

Maybe you’ll meet Charles the Mushroom man, also known for his epic turmeric, ginger, lemons and zucchinis. Kawana Markets is just delightful.

Munch and sip at Twin Fins Espresso Bar

Acai bowls served in coconut husks your thing? They do those too, plus some out of this world loaded up bagels. #getinmybelly

You’ll feel as cheerful and chilled out here as the crew. The atmosphere here is just swell! (5ft glassy swell that is).
