You’ll feel instantly cleansed when looking at these ancient volcanic peaks. 25 million years most certainly ticks the ancient box! One Tree Hill is on private property and there is a $50 fee for photography which is donated to charity.

Point Cartwright
360 degree views north to Mount Coolum, south to Caloundra, west to Mooloolaba and east to the blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean says it all really. It’s smack bang on the humpback highway and always a peaceful and serene place to reflect.

There’s nothing quite like a sunrise walk. Us Sunshine Coast locals go crazy for early starts. The still water of the Maroochy River and charming character of these little numbers gets the big tick.

Buderim Falls
Tucked away in the Buderim Forest Park, only 15 minutes from the coast, this little gem is like being in another world. Meander on a boardwalk through lush surrounds, between tress, and hop-skip-jump across the creek to arrive at this. Oh, and those challenged by mobility can still experience the first few hundred metres on the boardwalk. There’s even a restaurant on site. Totally worth the short walk in.

Seriously, how can anyone resist the crystal clear water surrounding Australia’s most visited national park? Tip: stroll the Coastal Track for one of the most surreal nature walks in Queensland. Grab your soy latte from the café at the national park entry and scout out the blackboard for where the koalas are hanging out.
