Epic Ocean Adventures, Double Island Point

Home to the phenomenon of natural coloured sands, from which its name is derived, and the vast and impressive Carlo Sand Blow, Rainbow Beach is Australia’s hidden treasure.  


The town is the closest access point to K’gari when travelling north of the Sunshine Coast and provides barge access for four wheel drive (4WD) entry.

From resorts to beach houses and fantastic campgrounds, there’s accommodation to cater for every type of coastal holiday. Camping at Inskip Peninsula provides the perfect relaxed camping atmosphere, with water on both sides and views to Fraser Island. Booking and camping permits are required.
