We created Moffat Beach Brewing Co. in 2015. The dream was to craft our own style of beers, just meters from the beautiful Moffat BeachMoffat Beach Brewing Co is officially the best independent small brewery in Australia. We have just been announced as Champion Small Brewery at the Indies! We also took out champion session beer for our Social Jam Mid Strength Pale Ale.

Our short tale represents big dreams, big balls, and the spirit of what Australian mateship is truly about.Cheers from your mates Hep and McGarry. Our story begins like any other cracka; two mates, a beautiful romance and a crazy thirst for more. In 2013, we quit our professional jobs to chase the Australian dream. We have worked blood, sweat and beers perfecting our recipes whilst figuring out how we can build a multi-million dollar brewery on a shoestring budget. With plenty of help from our mates and many taste testing parties, we launched Your Mates Brewing Co. in October of 2015.

Our philosophy is to keep things simple and enjoy our relaxed coastal lifestyle.Our beers are crafted from water, malt, hops and yeast and the time and care we've taken to brew it.... We pride ourselves on the fact that we are independent and family owned, where all of our beer is brewed on site. Just as the best surfboards are hand shaped by locals who know their local breaks, our beers are hand shaped for our local climate and lifestyle. By locals, for locals no compromise. Sunshine Coast Brewery has been brewing hand-crafted beer since 1998, making us not only the first craft brewery on the Sunshine Coast.Named after the beautiful part of the world we call home, the Sunshine Coast Brewery has been brewing hand-crafted beer since 1998, making us not only the first craft brewery on the Sunshine Coast but the oldest running microbrewery in Queensland. We use their little corner of Australia to explore and showcase traditional beer styles from around the globe, releasing new brews and limited editions regularly. With a range of over a dozen craft beers inspired by flavours from German Bavaria, the Irish mainland and a genuine alcoholic Ginger Beer, the Sunshine Coast Brewery offers a taste for every palate. A must-try for all visitors is our signature brew inspired by the beautiful Sunshine Coast itself, our mid-strength, full flavoured Summer Ale.
Sunshine Brewery
Since opening in May 2017, Brewer Craig Dunsdon has created 51 different beers – many have become staples in the core range, and others add to the forever-changing seasonal tap range. These include 8 medal-winning beers. The cellar door on Fishermans boasts 12 taps, with a changing rotation of different beers, making it a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike Long tables line the cellar door where communal seating is encouraged giving the brewery a sense of community. The brewery owners, long term locals Craig Dunsdon and Daryle Cook will often be found sharing a beer with locals and enjoying a meal when food vans are on site. The venue is very much a family friendly space with a dedicated and well-used kids area, games, reading material and an eclectic collection of STUFF adding to the atmosphere. Plus the Brewhouse is open and in full view, so on brew day visitors can see, smell and hear everything happening.
