World Environment Day (WED) festival is on again, and this year it’s all about empowering you! Now in its 37th year and situated right next to the ocean, WED is about giving you an outlet to become part of the solution. WED will give you ideas on how to live an ecologically responsible lifestyle while treating you to a selection of musicians, artists, speakers, innovators and storytellers. This year WED aims to start a conversation. To help them, they’ve got Stone and Wood Brewery on board who will be running a sunset jetty bar, providing you the prefect setting to enjoy Melbourne comedian Rod Quantock, Music from Band of Frequencies and a great selection of local acts. They’ll also treat you to a selection of interesting speakers, cultural dance, wildlife shows, art installations, fashion shows, bush crafts, children’s games, nutritious & delicious food, sustainable products, innovative solutions, Tesla cars, bike rally’s and stories from inspiring local legends. WED is a free not-for-profit event that invites everyone from all walks of life. If you breathe air, drink water, swim in the ocean, and eat food from the Earth – then World Environment Day is about you!
