The Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge provides eco-friendly accommodation in the heart of the Glasshouse Mountains. The remarkable Glasshouse Mountains are a series of steep sided volcanic plugs over 25 million years old. You can climb, scale, walk around or simply gaze at them from the front entrance of the Ecolodge. Explore off the beaten track, go for a bush walk, taste the wide variety of tropical fruits or visit Australia Zoo, just 10 minutes drive away. Listen to the sounds of the Australian bush from your own room; learn about the bush food garden and the 50 different tropical fruit trees. Enjoy our award winning coffee grown at the Ecolodge There is a large variety of accommodation suitable for singles, couples and groups. All rooms have ensuites. The Orchard Rooms, with great views of Mount Tibrogargan from their verandas, overlook the tropical orchard. Forest Family Rooms, which sleep up to four people, face the forest. Historical train carriages and bungalows. Self-serve breakfasts are available on request or prepare your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen/dining railway carriage. Relax in the second railway carriage, chat, play board games or make use of the swap library. Sit indoors or outside and enjoy the peacefulness of a truly great Australian bush setting.
