Australian Body Art Festival

The Australian Body Art Festival is Australia s premier body painting event, attracting artists and spectators from across Australia and overseas. Inspiring artworks, street performers, market stalls and lots of fun all weekend! This event is returning to Eumundi in 2024. This event is a 'A Festival of Colour' centred on competitions in full body painting (temporary art not tattoo) with body painting competitions in the categories of brush and sponge, airbrush, special effects and face painting. The event also showcases competitions and exhibitions in wearable art and surfboard art. For members of the public, it will be nothing short of phenomenal to watch the art take shape right in front of their eyes throughout the weekend. The event is free and it is a visual feast for the senses. The Australian Body Art Festival is a free not-for profit event hosted by the Eumundi & District Historical Association (EDHA) and possible with thanks to the generosity of its funding partners.
