Following the drought-breaking win by Sydneysider Andrew Evans in the 2021 Isuzu Queensland Open the Sunshine Coast will play host once again to the Queensland Open Golf championship in 2022. The 2022 Isuzu Queensland Open will be hosted by Pelican Waters Golf Club from 10-13 March as part of the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia. The event is set to have one of the strongest fields assembled in recent years, including: Past winners - Anthony Quayle, Jordan Zunic, Michael Sim, David Bransdon and Nick Cullen Notable names: Peter Lonard, Richard Green and the highest-ranked player in the field, Queenslander Brad Kennedy. Entry is free with spectators given the unique experience of walking the fairways with the professionals around the spectacular Greg Norman designed Golf Course. Grandstand seating on the 18th hole will be available as well as delicious food and beverages at the newly renovated Pelican Waters Golf Club Clubhouse.
