Sunshine Coast Hinterland Writer's Festival

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland Writer's Festival is a three-day program for readers, writers and lovers of books. We all live beneath the same sky, yet our stories are shaped by different places, cultures, histories, and imaginations. At SCHWF, writers from diverse backgrounds gather to form a living constellationfiction, nonfiction, poetry, oral storytelling, and emerging formseach voice adding light, meaning, and connection. You are invited to trace your own pathway through these stories across our shared horizon. The event includes author talks, panel discussions and writing workshops in a relaxed festival setting that showcases the best of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Visit the indie book market and food vans and meet your favourite authors while the kids dive into a world of imagination, interactive storytelling and petting zoo.
