Mary Valley Rattler

Every Friday in July there will be an additional train service where the folks at Wildlife HQ will bring along some of their animal mates for the family to meet. There will also be face painting for the kids and a chance to meet the drivers. The Holiday Express departs Gympie Station at 10:00am and returns at 1:00pm.

Friday 5 July head along to the historic Gympie Station for a special day where the trains and carriages that make up the Mary Valley Rattler will be on display. Chat with the volunteers and learn about the steam engine, the diesel engine and the railmotors as well as the heritage carriages.

Skyline Ferris Wheel, Caloundra

Australia’s tallest travelling, portable observation Ferris Wheel has landed in Caloundra and will be there throughout the school holidays until 21 July.

Get on your bikes and take a long ride along the coastal trail stretching right along the Coast or explore some of our stunning national parks and state forests.
