Sunrise Yoga at Spicers Clovelly Estate, Montville
If you’re looking to rejuvenate your juju (and our beaches and cooling hinterland rainforests aren’t quite enough), come and check out our wellness events! Held across the year, these festivals and expos are filled with expert knowledge, enlightening experiences, and plenty of opportunity for inner healing. In this guide, we’ve rounded up five wellness events on the Sunshine Coast you simply must keep note of in your journal.
U Shine Wellness Festival
Held at the Coolum Civic Centre, the U Shine Wellness Festival places a special emphasis on energy, healing and connection. This festival has been designed in a collaborative process with the highly successful Noosa Yoga Festival, so you’ll be in safe hands. Across the full day of activities in October, you’ll have the chance to try Qigong in the park (an energy-optimising part of traditional Chinese medicine), slow yoga, reiki, and more. Plus, there’ll be opportunities to interact with herbalists, spiritual guides and artists. With transformational leaders presenting inside the Civic Centre and other professionals waiting for you in the Jack Morgan Park, you’ll find your schedule full of engaging talks and experiences. Best of all, this is a family-friendly and wheelchair accessible event – all you need to bring along is your ticket and a yoga mat!
Women's Lifestyle Expo

Women's Lifestyle Expo
Located in Bokarina at Venue 114, the Women’s Lifestyle Expo is organised by Fabe Keily of the Empowering Women Network. Any women over the age of 18 are welcome to attend (for a small on-the-day entry fee of $10, or $5 if you book ahead), where you’ll be treated to a glass of champagne on arrival. Mix and connect with new friends, before browsing through the 50+ pop-up stalls and exhibits focused on wellness, health, fashion and beauty. With food and drink available, plus live music, speakers (and a fashion show!), this will be an inspiring evening of connection and empowerment to remember. This year, the event will be hosted on Friday 10th of November – a fabulous way to kick off a late spring weekend on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll find that six hours has never gone by so quickly!
Conscious Life Holistic Wellbeing Festival

Conscious Life Holistic Wellbeing Festival
If you’re a fan of engaging seminars, fortifying foods, therapies and live music, then make sure to book your spot at the Conscious Life Holistic Wellbeing Festival. The next event is scheduled to be held from the 2-3rd March, 2024, at Venue 114 in Bokarina (same place as the Women’s Lifestyle Expo, so you won’t get lost!). Grab yourself a kombucha and meander your way between the range of exhibitors, where no offering is the same. We’re talking essential oils, massages, and superfoods -- a great opportunity to start the cooler months with positive wellbeing front of mind.
Nambour GemFest
Enjoy a wonderful mix of community and gems at the annual Nambour GemFest, held at the expansive Nambour Showgrounds on the 14th of November 2023. With many believing that gems can support wellbeing, you’ll find no shortage of beautiful stones at this hotly anticipated event. From opals, to sapphires, to other precious gems, you’ll be sure to find something to capture your heart. Speak with experts, browse through a range of glistening treasures, and witness the art of rock polishing from local lapidarists. This is one Saturday not to be missed!

Looking to go deeper and enjoy a multi-day wellness event? Look no further than PranaFest – the Sunshine Coast’s only 3-day luxury retreat experience. Here, you’ll set up camp at the forested Borumba Deer Park, nestled just west of Imbil (and a 5-minute drive from Borumba Dam in the Mary Valley). Pitch a tent, park your van, or enjoy the convenience of glamping – whatever takes your fancy – and settle in for an engaging 72-hours. Plus, with an abundance of organic and plant-based morsels on offer, you won’t go hungry! This year’s schedule featured yoga, sacred healing sounds and reflective music... as well as plenty of positive intentions and lessons from bestselling author and podcast host, Melissa Ambrosini. If this sounds right up your alley, we’ve got good news – early bird tickets for next year’s event are on sale now!
