Peregian Beach

Nestled between Noosa
and Coolum Beach, Peregian
Beach is sought after by those who appreciate a relaxed lifestyle, pristine
ocean waters, good food and great shopping.

The little beach village that’s big on charm offers a wide range of
attractive low-rise holiday accommodation, friendly clubs, specialty shops and
delicious restaurants.

Here life is centred around their grassy village square that is also
very dog friendly with water bowls set outside most cafes and shops.

Start your stay by stopping in for a coffee and brunch at Hand of Fatima Cafe or Skal Coffee, before
enjoying delicious pastries at Le Bon Delice French Patisserie.

For a memorable meal the Peregian Beach Hotel is a favoured by the locals, as is Periwinkle Restaurant in
the village square.

Take the time to explore the trendy
boutiques, before crossing the road to the beachfront park with its excellent
skatepark, children’s playground and popular local Peregian Beach Surf Club.

It is here that the local Peregian Beach Markets
are held on the first and third Sunday of each month, with the popular Peregian Originals events
– a free outdoor live music event – are scheduled to return in 2021.

Peregian Beach is as pretty as it is
secluded. Enjoy a walk along the miles of sand, or set up for the day and watch
the waves crash against the shoreline.

Just over the sand hills at the southern
end of the beach you'll find Peregian Environmental Park, an area of wallum
heath which bursts into a colourful profusion of wildflowers in spring.

On the western side of Peregian Beach is
Lake Weyba National Park, where you can stay by the water at Eumarella Shores Noosa Lake
Retreat or explore the natural surrounds with Noosa Horse Riding. Nearby there is an
excellent course at Peregian
Springs Golf Club.

Nearby, too, is the southern extension of
the Noosa National Park with a rich mix of coastal heath and scrub and stately
rainforest which provides sanctuary and support for a wealth of native flora
and fauna.

There’s plenty of places to stay the
night at Peregian Beach, including The Retreat Beach Houses, Horizon at Peregian and Beachcomber Peregian Beach.
