The Over 60's Cricket World Cup 2020 will be held on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland from 24 October to 11 November 2021. According to Veterans Cricket Australia, this event will feature 10 International Teams, all vying for the honour of being named World Cup Winner after a series of seven matches which will culminate in the final between the top two teams which will be played on 10 November 2021. Matches will be played at the major cricket grounds across the Sunshine Coast. Each team will comprise a maximum of 17 players from the major cricket playing nations of the world. Matches will be of 45 overs for each innings. Participating nations England, Wales, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Canada South Africa and Zimabwe will join host Australia in the battle to be the inaugural winners of the Over 60's CWC 2021. All teams will stay at various accommodation centres from Coolum to Caloundra for 18 days. It will be an exciting event for the public who will be invited , to attend all matches, free of charge. Organisers for this event are all current members of Queensland Veterans Cricket. Sunshine Coast Regional Council is a major event sponsor.
