This festive season will take centre stage at Sunshine Plaza with a full calendar of events and experiences including Black Friday sales, Santa's arrival by boat, Christmas lights, and entertainment for the whole family. The season begins when Santa arrives by boat along Cormeal Creek. Families can follow the parade through the centre before enjoying a free Santa's Arrival Disco on the Riverwalk. Families can capture a keepsake with Santa photos, including dedicated sessions for pets, sensory-friendly times and Auslan-supported experiences. Festivities continue with Black Friday sales, giving shoppers the chance to get a head start on Christmas shopping. From fashion and gifts to dining and lifestyle stores, there will be great value across the centre, along with a sweet and savoury treat cart adding a touch of fun to the day. The centre will come alive with its Christmas Lights display, a popular stop on local light trails and a festive favourite for families. Throughout the season, shoppers can also enjoy: Charity Gift Wrapping with proceeds supporting local causes. Extended trading hours including a midnight trade.
