Start 2022 the right way by diving into the world of all things malty at the Malt and Meat Festival!
Taking over the the craft beer bar and kitchen at Malt Shovel Taphouse in Birtinya. There will be a lineup of 40 beers to sample, slow cooked meats to taste and a Gentleman Jack whiskey bar by Jack Daniels where you can explore the malted flavours of whiskey.

Top it all off with some live entertainment on a pop up main stage in the carpark featuring bands and local musicians inside Malt Shovel Taphouse.
Kicking things off in style is a three-day festival of all things beer and cider at the Sunshine Coast Craft Beer & Cider Festival.
You can expect pop-up bars to sample the ciders, pale ales, stouts, specialty beers and porter and even meet the brewers. All your favourite local brewers will be there along with some live music to enjoy while you taste.

To make sure you don’t sample on an empty stomach, there will be plenty of street-food to try.
Continuing the local theme, each year the Imperial Eumundi hosts the Hinterland Craft Beer Festival.
The festival showcases freshly made brews from across the Sunshine Coast and offers up live entertainment, delicious street food and even better – entry is free!

If you haven't had your fill of beer before the year is out, strap on your lederhosen and start practicing your yodelling!
