Super-chilled village bounded by pristine beaches, national parks and picturesque lakes.
Peregian Beach is one of the most community-minded villages on the Sunshine Coast. There’s a super-chilled, centrally-located shopping village, with a shady town square encircled by trendy cafes, fashion stores and gift stores that err on the side of the eclectic and cutting-edge. You can stroll barefoot around the little town, then cross the road to the beachfront park, with its excellent skatepark and children’s playground, and the popular local Surf Club. It’s here on the grass that the twice monthly markets are held, followed by Peregian Originals, an afternoon of live music that has become one of the Sunshine Coast’s best-loved regular events. On the western side of Peregian Beach is Lake Weyba National Park, and Lake Weyba itself, which feeds into the estuary at Noosa Heads.
